I don't know about you, but personal blogs are refreshing when I spend most of my time reading niche blogs. Verity's blog is no exception. Started in January of 2007, her goals included qualifying as a solicitor, losing weight and getting fit, taking control of her finances and keeping in touch with her friends. Judging by the ticker at the top of the page, it looks like she's doing a great job of meeting the weight goal.

The theme for this blog is okay for a "Blogger" blog, but nothing special. I don't like the Blogger profile setup, but you don't have many options when you're hosted on blogspot.com. I thought I would get annoyed by the use of different shades of red (pink) on the theme, but Verity chose her colors wisely and it actually looks pretty good to me.

Verity's recent letter to a spider had me wondering about her sanity, but she knew she was crazy when she wrote it. This is the kind of originality I enjoy reading when I'm not reading the serious stuff. Keep it up, Verity!
