I originally planned to do two separate reviews, but there's a lot of crossover (or what I would consider crossover) interests in both blogs. You can tell Hin Man loves photography just by looking at the quality of the photos on both blogs. As a software engineer living in Fremont, California, I don't see how he has the time to invest. By the way, Fremont is one of the cities I've actually been to. My grandmother, on my mother's side, lived there for many years before she died. My whole family (my parents' family) spent a couple of summers there when I was a pre-teen. I'm surprised I remembered that since it was well over 30 years ago.

While Hin's Tech Corner concentrates on the tech side of things, especially photography and cameras, Hin's Photo Blog concentrates on the pictures.

Something that has really started to annoy me, and it isn't Hin Man's fault, is the lack of features on blogs hosted at blogspot.com. It would be much easier to target in on specific things if there were categories set up. Just to double-check myself, I flipped through a dozen other Blogger blogs and none of them had categories. Not only that, there's no previous and next links on the main index pages. I like to go back, page by page, when I'm browsing a blog. How can you do that if the feature isn't there? I'm not familiar with Blogger; do either categories or paging even exist for their hosting service?

I have to be honest. I'm not into photography, whether it be the technical side or the pictures side, as you can probably tell by the lack of images on my own blog. As such, it's difficult for me to say whether I like Hin Man's blogs or not. I guess the best I can say is that I'm indifferent. Don't get me wrong. I love art and photography as art, but I'm very fickle on the subject matter.
