RSS Feeds: Blog Review: Hari's Corner
Hari is a frequent commenter and contributor to my blog, so it's naturally a pleasure to review Hari's Corner.
Hari doesn't post articles on his blog frequently. His blog isn't monetized in any way. Hari writes when he wants to write and only when he has something that he wants to write about. Unlike most blogs you see, Hari writes for the sake of writing itself. If he gets a few comments here and there, he doesn't mind but he's not actively soliciting responses. He "speaks" his mind.
If you or I are looking to find faults with his layout or his theme in general, we won't find them. Hari created his own, unique theme set at a fixed width that looks good in resolutions 800×600 on up. Everything's there in the sidebar, so navigation isn't an issue.
I read everything he writes, via my feed reader, but I rarely comment. That's not his fault because I comment rarely on any of the blogs I read. Hari's not striving to be popular, but I think he's more popular with his readers than he knows. He writes in the British form of English, even though it's his second language, and writes better than a lot of British and American blog writers. That alone draws readers in.

RT, what do you think about the fact that I publish only the article/post summary in my RSS feeds?
I get more feed readers with the full feed. Your mileage may vary. You might want to take a crack at the dualfeeds plugin to give readers a choice.
Well, anyway I have no way to keep count of who reads my feeds. I suppose I could reveal full feeds later on… I just wasn't comfortable with wholesale content-thieves who used the RSS as a way to leech off articles.
There was one "anti-leeching" plugin I found a long time ago which does "fingerprinting" of posts, but I cannot find it now… :???:
