Now here's a blog where this is my first visit. On the Horizon can best be described as a spirituality blog. Although Christian faith-based, the young lady that calls herself "Hopeful Spirit" is not confining herself to the doctrines and the dogma of the institutional church.
I read Hopeful Spirit's welcome and about pages. I cannot express in words what I think of her experiences. I know she did the right thing and not just once. Read the pages and you'll see what I mean.
I really like her theme. It's the three-column alternative to the traditional type that I use. Yes, I know she didn't design it, but she uses the space on it wisely and the images convey what kind of blog this is. I found her "about" and "contact" pages right away because they're prominent in the top navigational bar.
Her blog doesn't appear to be monetized, but this lady knows what she's doing. There's some search engine optimization in place, though I haven't dug deeper than the surface. Judging by her rankings, some displayed and some not, she's developing a healthy readership.
I couldn't seem to find anything on her blog to be negative about and I don't have six hours to look for it. This is a great blog. I'm adding it to my feed reader after I get done here.
