Although I've been a reader of Claire's blog, A little piece of me, for quite some time, it has been mostly through my feed reader. I don't feel like I'm providing an unfair review since she's changed the layout quite a bit since the last time I actually visited the blog.

Claire's blog theme is unique. She created the three-column layout herself, which is a feat in itself considering she has a Blogger blog. Hers is a personal blog and she writes a lot about her passions such as hiking, counseling, and volunteer work. Living in England, Claire makes generous use of the British form of English. It's humorous to read and try to figure out the American version of some of the words and phrases.

I only have a few minor problems with her blog. The text colors in the header don't compliment the color in the images and I think she should work on that. She also has an image in her right sidebar with black text that should be white. I can't read the bottom part at all. Her email link is in the left sidebar, which is good, even though I would prefer to see a contact page linked there. It probably isn't possible with a Blogger blog. One other thing: An "I" by itself should always be capitalized, Claire, and use those apostrophes; otherwise, I'm going to sick the grammar Bobbies on you.

Although Claire has had problems with her ISP in the past few months (see Guess What? and read her articles under the label "internet problems" in the right sidebar), she has somehow managed to be more gregarious than most people. She visits a lot of blogs, including mine, on a regular basis. With the way she writes, I'm willing to bet she has more people subscribed to her feed than I have with mine. Unless she puts a FeedBurner chicklet (or something) on there, I guess I'll never know.

Claire also writes guest articles. I've seen her articles on at least one other blog which I won't mention here because this review is about her blog, not his (besides, I've already reviewed his blog).
