RSS Feeds: Comment for a Review
Update 2008-03-26: The comments and pings are now closed. Any future blog review requests should be submitted on the "Request A Blog Review" page.
It's quite simple really. Leave me a comment saying which blog you would like me to review and I'll do it. You don't need to link back to me or anything like that (unless you want to do so). You can also leave a comment at the end of an existing review, instead of in the comments here.
I will accept invitations for blog reviews from comments, email and other sources. I just have to know about the invitations. The key here is: You are under no obligation to do anything for me in return.
As far as the content of a particular review is concerned, I reserve the right to write in a negative tone as well as positive and neutral. If you want an honest review, an honest review is what you're going to get. If you don't want an honest review, don't ask for a review from me.
I'm not a professional writer, reviewer, or anything of that sort. I promise that I'll do my best to write a thorough, yet brief, review. I have no problem writing reviews of 200 words or more, unless there isn't much to write about. Unlike paid reviews, I won't "nitpick" at every detail on your blog.
My daily goal is to do at least three blog reviews, in the order that I receive the invitations to do them. If I get backlogged because of the number of invitations, I'll do more.
Please note that I will NOT review a blog that I find personally offensive or a blog that looks like it has spent all of its time scraping the contents of other blogs.
(Update 2007-08-21: If you have more than one blog to review, I'll do one of them and put the others at the end of the "queue". I want to do one blog per person before doing multiple blogs. It still shouldn't be that long of a wait.)
