Today's edition is just a wee bit longer than usual, but not that much. I hope you enjoy today's…

Blog Drive-Bys

Sue wrote about managing your time as a prelude to a series of articles about getting "Blogged Out or Stressed Out" at Sueblimely - Discovering Blogging. I've found that time management and scheduling is the key to keeping my sanity when writing blog articles.

Edward Wolf (a book author) has a number of blogs. One of them is an adult blog with lots of nude pictures at the Pretty Women Blog. Be advised that the blog is totally unsafe for work (NSFW).

Jo, in her Life With Heathens, spent last Sunday a lot busier than I did. I noticed one thing: She likes here mother-in-law. I guess there's a first time for everything and that's the first time I ever saw someone admitting that.

Rory wrote how parents have to get on the same side as children instead of trying to win a battle at hamelife. 20 plus years of experience with my sons taught me how true this is.

Speaking of parenting, Steve of Ramblings from the Marginalized has a fairly new blog called Dad's Word where he fields questions from parents about their children. Check it out.

Before I forget again, and I have a habit of forgetting things (CRS disease), Brandon of TwentyThree7 updated his version of WP-Cache called "WP-Cache NoSymlink" (the one that works on all servers, including Windows) back in June. Of course, you can't use this plugin unless you're running WordPress as a self-hosted blog.

Michael did a mini-movie review of "Crank" at Beyond the Rhetoric. It stars Jason Stratham (the same guy from the Transporter movies) which means I have to see this movie. Thanks for the review, Michael!

Do you want to keep up with Ron Paul? You know, the Republican candidate I wrote about some time back? Look no further than Ron Paul 2008. It looks like Ron is moving up in eastern Iowa.

Cherry answered five frequently asked questions about weight loss at My Diet Methods, Reviews and Recipes. The last one… well… when I eat eggs, I eat no less than two (and sometimes three or four). Mmmmm… I love eggs.

RennyBA mentioned a sunny, summer day in Oslo, Norway at RennyBA's Terella. When he specified the temperature, I decided not to read any further. 60 degrees Fahrenheit! It doesn't get that cool here in the winter!

It's time to make a monthly payment to the takers of my eight for one deal from back in April:

Ernie is giving out sun screen advice at Blue Beaver Beer. How about a nice big cup of espresso?

Arnie is offering to sell his blog at Critical Assumption for the measly sum of about $12,500 (half of the Technorati worth thingy). Heck, I'd even sell mine for half of what it's worth ($184,040.04 according to Business Opportunities Weblog). Yeah, right, sure… as if anyone's that gullible.

Perhaps Edge Media is having issues like other blogs I've been seeing recently with the last post being on July 4, 2007. I hope new things appear before I do this again next month. Sigh.

Can you believe it? Even comic book villains are susceptible to Microsoft's infamous blue screen of death. Check out the picture at goldcoaster. It looks like either Windows 95 or 98 to me.

Peter is talking about a magic carpet ride at Necessary Skills. As much as I would love to be on that carpet, reality has a way of keeping me grounded.

If you're offended by adult imagery or the random use of expletives, don't visit Justin at The Sanctuary. Otherwise, have at it. Be advised that the blog is totally unsafe for work (NSFW).

She isn't writing as much as I would like, but oh well, it's her blog. I read about Lea Solonga at Tiny Signs. Yes, Lea is a Filipina. She's famous here in the Philippines. Did you know she has (or had) a recurring role in an American daytime soap opera?
