I really haven't been slacking off. I have a ghost in my machine. Lately, my laptop has started doing peculiar things like shutting down by itself and freezing the keyboard. I think it's the heat and humidity here and it's been hotter than usual for the past couple of days. Oh well, I can't really complain until it stops working completely. On with the good stuff, my…

Kent (aka Tharsos) posted his disclosure policy at Earn Money on the Web. A site-wide disclosure policy is a good idea and I put one up (as a static page) on my own blog quite a while before I actually started publishing sponsored posts.

MarriedMelody did the same thing at Making Money through Internet. She commented on my blog shortly after Kent (above) which makes me wonder if he's the guy she's married to. I could be wrong, but their blog themes are similar and their posts are similar. Hmmm…

BetShopBoy at I thought therefore I blog asked if you're ready for the next Google PageRank update. He mentioned Gary Lee's offer, Get your Page Rank on NOW! Follow Gary's instructions and he'll link to your blog or blog post from a high PR page. Kind of like this: Use online coupon codes to shop and save money at pinkdeals.net. (Update: Oops. Gary's cut off for this deal was midnight on Wednesday. It's now Thursday.)

Interesting. I just read at Dilithium Crystalworks about Apple's shares falling after the match-up between the iPhone and AT&T didn't go as planned. I'm not sure if it happened before or after a flaw in the iPhone was discovered.

Borzack published a great article about using natural ingredients as exfoliants (removing dead skin) at Healthy Lifestyle. In my aspirations at being an Internet tough guy, I use the old-fashioned method of scrubbing my face with a cloth. It that doesn't work, "Scotch-Brite" or even steel wool will do.

I'm a member of Smorty (another sponsored post service) but I haven't had the opportunities that Linky Love has had. They've sent me two email messages and by the time I log in to their site, the opportunities are already snatched up. Consequently, I haven't done even one post for them yet. If my experiences with them continue this way, I may never write for them.

I sense a disturbance in the force. BlogPaul totally and shamelessly ripped off my Technorati Favorites Exchange post. Just for that, I'm going to use a Jedi mind trick to make him think he's actually doing me a favor.

He hasn't commented on my blog yet (heck, I think his blog is just a month old) but I couldn't resist "The Blogger Challenge" that Bryan of One Man’s Goal presented. I have already made him a Technorati favorite and will comment on his blog as soon as I get done writing this post. I invite you to take up the challenge as well. It'll be fun to see who wins.

Rinsem posted one of those images that require you to think to figure out the phrase at Rinsem's Rink. I don't know about anyone else, but I don't even want to try. It just looks like carefully stacked copies of old "Avengers" comics to me. I guess I have no imagination.

Grace at NeonScent asked if we use metaphors when writing our articles. Heck, I don't know if I do or not. I'll have to look at my archives. With somewhere between 700 and 800 articles, it's a cinch that I did at one time or another. I think metaphors get the point across better than plain post titles.
