(This is a guest author article.)

The whole of yesterday eve was spent in revamping techXtreme. I changed the 2-column template into a 3-column one ,differently stylized and comparatively simpler and easy on eyes than the previous one. I also removed the Page Header after frantic attempts at changing the code, unlocking the header widget, making it movable across the page (in the manage layouts page) and allowing the addition of more widgets at the place. I wouldn't have removed the Header widget had the 'Add Image to Header' function provided by Blogger been working for me! Or,maybe it was because the template I used (Washed Denim) was text-only. Then I removed the Blogger Navigation Bar from the top,to make the blog look neater and also because some low-life A$$H0Le$ may "Flag" your blog for no obvious reason (or for any, they got!). Though this has me,myself at the inconvenience of going to Blogger Home if I have to make any changes to the settings or write a new post. Then, after a giving a thought to what made techXtreme look the ugliest the previous time, I decided to change the Labels widget. To look like a cloud (as seen at Technorati) rather than the ordered vertical list that just seemed to have no end once it started. For solving this purpose I used a really helpful and informative Blogger Hack found here. I have also added a recent comments widget (see,in the right side-pane). Though I wanted to have more than just 5 comments but again, I wasn't able to add a scroll bar to the widget and restrict the widget dimensions. And more of it, I don't have many comments on my blogs that I'd show .. but anyway!

Getting rid of the Header widget was a pain, but I was finally able to remove it. Instead of that, i added an Image (Do you like the design,eh?) and hyperlinked it to the techXtreme home. Re-construction finished

At the end of it, I'd like to have some feedback and comments from all. Please.
