I've made it to the middle of commenters on May 9, 2007. It's still going to be awhile before I make it to July, no matter how hard I try. Since I encourage comments, I should never catch up (I hope). Commenters are one of my primary sources for drive-bys, regardless if I've been there before or not. I try not to hit the same site twice when going chronologically, but mistakes do happen and that's okay. When I get to the point where I hit the same sites over and over, I plan to do another project to generate more comments. I'll climb that mountain when I get there. Please enjoy today's…
Culture Shiok!, a Filipino working in Singapore, mentioned a website called "Lakbayan" that allows Filipinos (or residents like me) to track every location we've been to in the Philippines. It's pretty nifty, but it took me a while to figure out that I have to bookmark after every update in order to save my information. I only entered one place, just to see what the map did and I actually like what it does. Too bad it gave me an "F" to start with!
Martin at Community Spark wrote an interesting article about how, even though you may have developed a community, the community belongs to the members. You keep members happy by getting to know them and by responding to them. I've never really started a community, so this is good to know if I should ever do so.
Mike wrote about the television series "The Office" at MichaelMcKinlay.com and even provided a video clip from it. This is one series I have never seen and probably never will. It doesn't air here in the Philippines.
Elaine makes a very strong case about allergies at Elaine Vigneault's Diary. Instead of placing restrictions on animals and even people in public places, the environment at the public places should be modified. They do it with air conditioners. Why not air purifiers too? I've been to some public places where allergies would be the least of their problems.
After watching the video at modifoo, I have a healthy new respect for those that can use applications like Photoshop to create lifelike drawings. Yes, I watched the whole thing. I can't even do freehand what was done in the first 30 seconds.
Ray wrote a fantastic article on boredom at FreshBlogger. Find out what doesn't bore you and change your life to go in that direction. I have to smile when I read it. I terminated the boredom in my life and escaped cubicle hell last year. Read my "about" page if you don't believe me.
LB at i s a n y o n e O u t t h e r e ? provided some random pictures about the "Traveling Salesman". I have no idea where he's talking about but the weather sounds like right where I'm at (even though I know it's not). The pictures make me hungry, though, and I just ate dinner!
Mike received a cute video in his email at Gummy - The Lovesick Alien and shared it with everyone. You can tell these girls are hooked. Look at their T-shirts!
Pinksy posted a video of some teenagers that need to have their heads examined at Pinksy. Jumping off a roof and onto a trampoline? How stupid can you get? Trampolines can be a lot of fun if you use them the way they were designed for. I guess you can't leave kids alone for a minute without them doing something insane for a few cheap thrills.
Bethany at the Internet Strategy Blog posted her review and impressions of the iPhone. I have a piece of advice to anyone who doesn't have one yet: Wait for the new and improved version when it comes out. By then, maybe the price tag will be low enough to justify missing a few features.

Public Service Announcement: Never drink and blog!
I and my son are sharing a bottle of Tanduay Dark Rum on ice. Nothing mixed. My brain is woozy, but I'm having fun!
