Spud at Nice4Rice has not been accepted by ReviewMe yet and is asking others what kind of stats they had when approved. I can't answer because I haven't applied myself. Perhaps I'll do that today or tomorrow.
This is something that caught my eye right away. Alan at Hacked Gadgets posted a picture and information about a vibration-powered generator. I'm going to have to dig into this further later on in the week. With the kinds of vibrations occurring around my house every day, it would be great to harness that for… anything!
Alan at Made to Be Great wrote a very interesting article about beliefs that limit us. How we perceive the world around us is a reflection of our beliefs and we can't change our feelings into something positive without changing our beliefs.
I just spent way too much time checking out Katie Holmes at Share Everything In Life. I read the bio, looked at the pictures and watched the videos. I didn't know she was an actress on "Dawson's Creek" because I never watched that TV series, not even once. It wasn't until I started watching the videos that I realized she's married to Tom Cruise. My mind… it's going… I can feel it…
I'm trying to keep up, I really am. But when it comes to "Second Life", I have no idea what Chino at Voluntary Death is talking about. I know it's an online simulation and that's about it. I've never done any kind of online gaming (although I watched my older son play Halo a few times) and I'm clueless. You can color me old or just not with it, whatever you prefer.
Jag is giving away some marketing software at E-MoneyMarketing. No gimmicks and no catch. Whether you need the software or not is a different story. Hop on over there and take a gander (who talks like that?). I did.
David of Baked Beans On Toast (a photoblog) was the only commenter on my Beware of Baked Beans humor post. The title explains it all, but I could swear that one of his post titles said "farting" instead of "farthing" at first glance. Sorry, David. I love baked beans. I don't know if Bush's Best is actually the best, but they're pretty good.
I went for Mattsofi's most popular post at SapphireKnight. The global translator has been giving him the same problems as I have had recently. Unlike him, however, I'm NOT trying for a workaround. I just removed it altogether and nobody seems to miss it. I announced it the first time I removed it, but not this time. It's not the plugin author's fault — it's the morons who want to fetch pages via proxies and leech the bandwidth. I had wondered what was eating up my bandwidth until I started investigating. When I came across Mattsofi's post, I knew I wasn't acting hastily at all.
Phishie posted the specs for a gaming computer at LawlTech. While the price tag is too steep for me (I don't do PC gaming), I appreciate this piece of equipment for one reason. The gaming industry drives better hardware for PCs. Nothing else has to be said about it.
I'm not sure what MISA stands for, but Aaron at Paradise Philippines went home early to get some sleep (at 9 pm) because it was better than staying with all the couples (and Aaron is unattached). Oh well, sometimes it's more important to get the school stuff out of the way before enjoying the night life. You'll soon be in the position to have real fun, Aaron!
