Stine at Mother's Home posted her "Thursday Thirteen" meme, listing 13 things that kept her from blogging lately. I think that list applies to a lot of people, not just her.

Josh attributed some of his early life successes to "Star Wars" at the Secret Life of J Radke. He wrote about it for the 30th anniversary of the release of the first movie. I never read it put quite the way he did.

Kambiz wrote his farewell to Mr. Wizard at Kambiz Kamrani. Kambiz is grateful that Mr. Wizard introduced him to science and set him on his current path.

Randy Maugins commented on an article published by Rolling Stone magazine at Surfing the Chaos. The music executives at the records labels still don't get it and that's the point. The old "mortar and brick" method of selling full albums doesn't work like it used to and it isn't going to get any better.

A frequent visitor and commenter here at Untwisted Vortex is Sandee of Comedy Plus. There's always something fun to read every day on her blog. Her use of images to accentuate most of the jokes she receives has the effect of making them better and more appealing. I have very few online friends and I consider her one of them.

Some blogs have in-depth articles and some have nothing but links and videos. In my opinion, one is not better than another. It's just difficult to pinpoint the good stuff in the latter. Such is the case with Links for everyone. There's so much there, I wouldn't know where to begin.

If you want to know what goes way over my head, take a look at Programming Kung Fu Qi. Not only do I NOT know what "Qi" is, but it's something I don't want to learn. I have too much bouncing around in my brain as it is. Like Kelly Bundy (sorry for the obscure reference for those of you who don't know the character), I think I'll forget something important if I try to learn this.

Mawe's unusual article about a homophobic mayor at Mawe's Adobo got me to thinking. A robotic toilet (self-cleaning) is an important change at any location where public toilets are in use. Think of the man-hours that can be saved cleaning up after inconsiderate people. The only place I found clean public toilets (which really aren't public) were at Disneyland in California.

I find it interesting that Google is putting effort into things that have absolutely nothing to do with search engines or marketing. I read the story at The Answer May Surprise You and I was definitely surprised. Google actually has the money and the clout to fight back against the innovation-stifling American car companies.
