Blogsvertise - Another Sponsored Posts Site

When I signed up for Blogsvertise, they sent me an email message and asked for a post that links to their site (as part of the approval process). I can't give any more information about them than I have received and what I've seen on their site because I haven't been approved yet. It appears to be another sponsored posts site, similar in concept to others I'm signing up for.

I'm compiling a list of all the sponsored posts sites I sign up with; I'll be documenting how the offers are received or obtained, how much is being paid, how long it takes to get the amount credited to my account, and how long it takes to actually receive a payment. When I've completed the list, I'll publish it in a separate post so that you can see exactly what works for me and could possibly work for you.

I'll keep an eye for the review. I've been meaning to do some sponsored posts which have more flexibility than what PayPerPost is offering.

I actually signed up for Blogsvertise well before I even knew about PayPerPost. A few things about their system.

1. You don't find opportunities; they find them for you. You receive an email each time they assign you a sponsored post (which isn't very often). They base this decision on how much is your minimum required payout (how much you want per post) and some of the content your site has. I've had some obscure requests, though, like posts about ceiling fans.

2. Payment is reasonably expedient and is along the same lines as PayPerPost.

3. You won't get rich. Most of the opportunities (that I've received) are no more than $8 and most are $5. Couple this with the fact that I only get one or two requests a month and you can see how minor this can be, especially if you reject any of the offers.

4. The restrictions on how the post is formatted is much more lenient than PPP. You just have to link to the sponsors site three times; you don't even need to talk about the actual site at all. Advertisers just want link juice, I guess.

  Thanks for the info, Michael. Heck, I know I won't get rich — not with all them combined. It's not a lucrative pursuit at all.
  
  I'll probably make more money from AdSense in the long run, but it's not about the money for me. It's about writing what's interesting to others as well as myself. If I wanted to make money, I wouldn't be blogging.

Pretty disappointing to know the payment amounts. I guess I shouldn't be surprised. Most of these sponsored services must be having thousands of blogs registered with them.

The maximum payout offered for me till now is $10 and most of the posts are not related to my blog.
