"Heroes" is a television series from the NBC television network. It's an addictive show revolving around people who are supposedly the next step in the evolution of humans. While I find the premise of this evolutionary step an exercise in unlikeliness, I found the series very entertaining. I especially like the character of Hiro Nakamura. He's funny and serious at the same time.
The conclusion of the first season left me begging for more. The final confrontation with Sylar was a letdown for some people, but I saw it as exactly the way it was predicted in the series. It wasn't supposed to be a "grand finale" type of episode. It was merely the conclusion of the events that led up to that final event. Because "Heroes" was signed for another season early on, the original story had to be modified just a little to allow for a second season to be reasonable.
Hiro landing in the 17th century and the dragging off of Sylar's body are the two hooks that will keep fans waiting for the next season to arrive. There are some that won't agree, but that's okay. We all have our own likes and dislikes when it comes to entertainment like this.
"Heroes" stars Hayden Panettiere, Masi Oka, James Kyson Lee, Sendhil Ramamurthy, Zachary Quinto and many, many more. Here's a trailer:
