I'm making some changes with my blog that won't be entirely visible, so I'm going to tell you about them. I want to be as transparent as possible. Changes to the blog are coinciding with some changes in my own lifestyle. There's nothing like getting taken out by an injury/illness for three weeks to put things in perspective for me.
I'm completely retired from the work force, but I still have commitments and obligations to take care of. Some of it has increased since my wife went to the US to work for 6 months to a year. Things are starting to take a toll on my personal wellbeing. In order to continue writing for this blog, I have to make changes to allow myself more time away from it.
Very soon, probably next week, I'll be writing multiple articles and saving them to be published at intervals. The first post of every day will be timed to the early morning on the US East coast. I intend to write enough articles to get me through a week without having to actually spend the entire week behind the computer, blogging. I can use some extra time to go back to doing some programming, which I really like to do and haven't had much time for recently.
Very recently, domestic issues have kept me awake when I shouldn't be awake. I've very tired from my lack of a regular sleep schedule. I'm trying to get back to my old schedule so that I don't have to remember certain routines that I've failed to keep going.
I'm going to be bowing out of certain social network sites completely. If I can't put any effort into them, why should I bother to pretend?
I'll have more to share on this later. Right now, I'm heading to bed for some much needed shuteye.
