Say Hello To Scott
I have added a new contributing author to the blog. His name is Scott Sheaffer (you'll see posts by him that say "By Scott"). Me and Scott go back a long way. I met him more than 12 years ago, when he was a contributor on my BBS.
With a background in Christian theology, Scott is going to be sharing some of his thoughts as part of his journey on the path to enlightenment (and maybe other things he hasn't mentioned yet). Scott is not a clergy of any kind — he didn't pursue theology. In fact, he's a director at a huge company in Phoenix, Arizona, USA. He has experience in biochemistry, management, information technology, and was even a vice president of another company before moving back to Phoenix.
I realize the blog will not be as personal as it has been, but since Scott thinks a lot like I do, you may not even notice it's him writing until you look at the by line. I believe this is a temporary situation. Once Scott gets used to doing it and responding to comments and feedback, I think he'll want to set up his own blog and do his own thing. Blogging is addictive.
Please give him a warm welcome and enjoy what he has to write about. (If he writes enough, I might even be able to slip away and do some guest blogging for others.)

I look forward to reading his stuff. Christian Theology, Biochemistry, IT – sounds like a lot of experience being brought to the table.
First, welcome Scott. Looking forward on your articles that aren't about christian theology :P.
Second, RT, the translation plugin isn't working anymore. On my blog it just doesn't work, on yours I see it gives a 999 error from Yahoo.
It does that on occasion, but not all the time. It's their anti-spam thing. I'm using the Alta Vista translation instead of the Google because Google comes up like that more often.
Welcome Scott! Looking forward to reading your posts!
Is RT treating you ok? If not, send him over to my blog, I could use a guest blogger from time to time
Thanks everyone for the warm welcome. I hope you'll find at least a few of my meanderings as thoughtful and entertaining as RT's. I look forward to reading your feedback and getting to know you better through your posts.
Welcome Scott. I will be looking forward to your posts. :)
Hey Scott:
Welcome, welcome, welcome. I see you drive a Mustang GT & live in AZ…I must say that I may have a twinge of jealousy! Why? Because I drive a V6 Mustang & live in MI! ;-)
It will be nice to get a break from RT for awhile. Just kidding RT…;-)
 *Wink* Very happy to see that Scott is contributing to your blog. I've known him several years and he's always brought very interesting thoughts and ideas to any conversation we've had. Look forward to reading more of his writings in the near future.
