Connectivity Problems Make Me Irritable
I don't know where the fault lies and it really doesn't matter. I'm irritable and it's because I can't connect to a lot of the blogs in my feed reader. This happens daily. If any of you think that I don't visit because I'm lazy or because I don't want to, think again.
Right now is one of those times. Here are just a couple I want to read and comment on, directly at the blogs I can't connect to:
- Google Reader And Firefox Issues at Blog-Op.
- Bookmark: Withdraw your PayPal fund from anywhere in the world at webgrrrl.net.
I'm sure this is a localized DSL phenomenon, but it still irritates me to no end.

Edward from Urban Iconoclast sent me an email message that his browser seems to lock up on my site, since about the time I moved from web host to web host. Does anyone else experience this? I want to kill the offending code, script, plugin, or whatever if it does… but I'll need help in identifying the culprit.

Have not had any issues on my end…wish I could help more.
I still have connectivity issues with Firefox. If I open more than 5-6 tabs, then it stops working and I have to restart. Really irritating and frustrating.
If I have that problem, I stop and restart Firefox (I use the session manager from the Tab Mix Plus, not the one from Firefox). All is well after it restores.
Most of the time, it's not Firefox to blame. Like today. I closed Firefox, reset my DSL connection, rebooted the PC and the same sites wouldn't come up. One of the sites I listed is in Malaysia (I checked… no Malaysian sites would come up) and the other in Scotland (I could only check his and his sister's blogs and none of them would come up).
Very odd because I could connect to the U.S., Australia, India…
The first one seems to be down.
The second one is okay with me. But if you want, the URL at hongkiat.com is

That was the post referred by webgrrrl.net
I hope this will help you.
Thanks. I read the article you just linked to, but I wanted to harass Lorna anyway. I can get behind that idea except that I would probably not see the ATM card arrive here. (Hence, the reason I'm doing it through my wife in the states.)
It's probably my hosting provider having an unscheduled downtime. Again. And that provider is actually in the States.
I have a nagging feeling, though, that the browser crashes may have been caused by the widgets integrated into WP 2.2. but I have no proof other than the fact that I noticed my widgets loading slower than before.
Sorry for assuming. But I didn't experience any browser crashing.
When I was on dial-up this was an ongoing problem, but since I went to high-speed it's a thing of the past. I feel for you, it is irritating.
Tell me about my host RT…. 'An unscheduled power outage at a remote location' was to blame for yesterdays debacle. ANHosting suck logs, I only used them because WP endorsed them (I don't care what disclaimers they put on, if WP list a host on WP.org, they're endorsing them).
I've never had any problems on your blog, I'd say it's about the fastest loading one on the 'net.
I'm also irritable when my internet connection goes haywire. I get more irritable especially if I'm reading a very interesting blog post and suddenly my connection stops. That's why we need to choose carefully our DSL providers.
