It's a good thing I acquired that photonic kalesa (buggy) when I did because my photonic car bit the big one. It just couldn't handle the stress of glaring colors and badly formatted text. If it was alive, I would have had to shoot it. Anyway… let's get on with today's…

Blog Drive-Bys

Are you all out of faith? Maybe you need to visit the House of Virtue. Whether you attribute your plans in life to a deity or not, it's interesting to read about the experiences of someone who does.

I checked out that picture of the Varlaam Monastery in Kastraki, Greece over at I am Who I am and continued by checking out the related pictures at Photoseek. I don't know how people got up and down from those places, but in the 21st century you'd hope they have an elevator of some kind. I'll bet restocking of food supplies was a real pain in the keester!

I was looking at the "Sizzling New Australian Fashion" at IguanaFashions. At prices above $300 in US dollars, my wallet would be screaming at me if my wife bought one of those dresses. Where there's a Wal-Mart, there's a way! (That was humor, just in case you didn't get it.)

I purposely did NOT skip over laketrees because I appreciate non-photographic art much more than I probably should. I grew up with paintings on the walls of my parents' home, and I stared at those paintings time and again, so I shouldn't be surprised at my own art appreciation.

Skipping my surfing order for a change, since I couldn't remember where Kim Barker from laketrees was from, I looked at her profile again at Life in the Fast Lane. I needed that information for my blogroll. I should have remembered Australia, but I didn't. It must be that CRS disease kicking in again, I suppose. While I was there, I read the article on Space Tourism Set for Lift-off. In my entire lifetime, I will never be able to afford one of those flights.

I really hate it (not really) when an article turns out to be a joke. I was all geared up for a depressing end to the "Scam Warning" article at Little Aussie Cynic. I feel like such a fool. Shut up! Don't agree me with me!

I couldn't resist this: The 14-year old kid who can make money online at Carlocab.com made a link back offer and an offer to raffle his e-book after every 30 reviews on his Make Money Online - Batch 7 article. It tickles me to death to see someone so young with such an eager entrepreneurial spirit. If he feels so inclined, he could always link back to any one of my infamous Blog Drive-Bys to show his appreciation for my not-so-hard work.

This is the first time I took the time to read Nia's article, So, is this that Master Cleanse Weight Loss Diet? I plan to go back and read some more because I need to start detoxifying my own body on a regular basis. Some of the food and drink items that she talks about on the blog, well, I just can't get them here. I may be able to go with some substitutes, although they probably won't work as well.

Marc's analysis of Digg patterns at Master the Web was an exercise in futility, whether he knew that or not, although it was interesting to read it. We can't predict anything based on visitors from Digg because Digg changes their algorithms so often that a valid analysis a week ago will be no good at all for next week. I gave up on trying to figure out Digg long ago, even after I got dugg over 11,000 times in one day. I enjoyed his posted video of Digg Reality. Digg mentality at its finest.

The description of Colony Farm Regional Park Community Gardens, Coquitlam, BC, Canada at MyBootsnMe.com is almost enough for me to search for something similar locally. Alas, places like this are few and far between and not on any maps available here.

I just finished reading the article about believing at My Life and My Views. I, too, am a lifelong optimist, despite some of the pessimistic viewpoints I may have presented or may be presenting in the future. But I was never optimistic enough to own a Yugo with a trailer hitch.

I realize it isn't a real article, but the cartoon at Notes of an Asian Gastronomist is a description of what I'll probably do if I someday decide to quit blogging.

I know they don't need my extraordinary linkage skills at the PayPerPost blog, but I simply had to do it. They wrote about a special 2-CD collection of the hits by "The Police". Has it really been that long? God, I feel so old.
