For various reasons, mostly due to my wife's impending departure, I was forced to neglect a few things. This was one of them. Reading feeds in my feed reader was another. Today, I decided to combine the two. I'm going to list at least one item from each (for those that have new articles since the last time I looked), but in no particular order. Why? So that the blog authors will have no doubt that I actually read my feeds. Without further ado, I present today's…
I wouldn't know about incoming links if it weren't for the dashboard in my WordPress administration pages. After I saw the incoming link, and then looked at the feed for Tiny Signs, I just knew I had to use the logo image above. I think I'll use it from now on. I'm going to link her blog to it each time. She'll have more incoming links from this blog than she'll know what to do with.
Nirmal at -| Life Rocks ! 2.0 |- posted a picture of himself at work, along with the computer equipment he uses. He blogs with it as well. I went back a little further and looked at some links from blogs he reads. This led me to examine a review of FeedDemon at ReviewSaurus. The author likes it and it may a good desktop alternative to Google Reader.
I'm not into the "Manic Monday" and other such similar memes, so I have a tendency to look and move on. Thank goodness there's way more stuff on Claire's Pitt's blog, like her interview by the infamous Skittles.
Corey (or MrCorey, as he calls himself) ranted on a little about eBay Mislisters and why he doesn't buy from them. I never bought anything off eBay because I have an inherent mistrust of giving my hard-earned (or even not so hard-earned) money to someone I'll never see or hear of again.
A few days ago, Paul (aka blogpaul) unleashed a torrent of ideas and impressions concerning lazy America’s immigration fix. Judging by some comments, it went over with some ethnicities like a fart in church. He painted a picture of what's really wrong with America, in his own inimitable style, and it ruffled some feathers.
Chris at Blog-Op explained some things that people do wrong when writing their blog articles. I'm guilty of at least one of them, even though I use a spell checker and a grammar checker every single time I write. I really don't know where he finds the time to juggle this stuff with the humorous stuff on Thermal along with posting pictures on Autofocused. I think my head would implode.
The User at User and Loser posted some enlightening thoughts about the aftermath of his battle with drug addiction. As a former drug and alcohol counseling representative in the military, I can relate what he says to what I actually saw. It's not pretty.
Coach McGee at Can't Coach That mentioned some things he learned in a week. He thinks he learned something from me. Ha! That'll be the day!
Kelly at Catch a Falling Star posted some pictures along with her commentary about a recent hike she was on. The pictures are fantastic and remind me of my pre-military camping trips and some of the places I hiked in as a teenager and even younger. The smell out there, away from the city, is incredible and enough reason in itself to get out of town.
Jillian frequently links to websites that she likes at CAUTION: girl underway. When I find idle time, I like to actually go and see what she saw. Say "see what she saw" ten times quickly and see if you can say it right!
Spotting the video at Comedy Plus, I had to watch it again for the hundredth time. A mouse by any other name is still a rat and needs to be "eRATicated"!
Justin (aka Sirrion) at The Sanctuary posted some of his online history along with some of his thoughts. An interesting read, to say the least. Read it for yourself, but beware of collateral completely unsafe for work posts that you might accidentally see.
Baxter at The Far Corner does a recurring set of articles in the same vein as my drive-bys called "blog walkabout". I like to see what blogs he's looked at and check them out too.

I just realized how many hours I spent doing just this many and decided I'd better continue with the rest in the next edition (tomorrow). I have other things I have to do now, such as cook dinner. Damn!
Note: My wife called to let me know she had arrived at her cousin's apartment in Phoenix. She'll be calling back again tomorrow, so I'll have to remember to keep my IM open (this was a regular long distance call, so we had to cut it short).
