It will be interesting to see what the Corporate gurus of GNU/Linux will release now that Microsoft has given it's patent infringement claims in question to them.
Microsoft is the easy target due to their size and wanting to protect it's IP. I'd bet that if Linux had released claims of IP infringement, most would be jumping in joy.
My guess is the most interesting announcements are yet to come in this storyline.

Do you remember the movie 'The Sixth Day', starring governor Arnold Schwarzenegger? I thought the evil CEO was supposed to represent Mr. Gates, and the cloning operation was like Microsoft's operating system. That's why the movie freaked me out a little, and every one of these posts of yours about Microsoft prompts me to remember the evil clone boss doing unscrupulous things.
Remember it? I have that movie on DVD. And there is a remarkable similarity in the story lines. Evil CEO, unsuspecting public, etc.
Where is GoldCoaster when M$ needs a little support? Has even GC abandoned M$???
