My Head is the Size of a Watermelon

I was out for a while and returned just after midnight (my time). My natural course of action when returning after a few hours is to check my spam filters and any email I may have received. I usually check my Clicky stats to see how traffic is going. Sometimes, but not very often, I check my Technorati stats to see who recently linked to me and why (most of the time they're pingbacks or comments on blogs that use one of the dofollow plugins).

My head is usually not very big. My mother's is larger than mine due to the prominence of her Native American ancestry. Well, I was heading downstairs after checking everything and almost couldn't walk upright or keep my balance. My head had grown to three times its size! It did that after I read some email and checked my Technorati links. I won't mention the email sources, but just to give you an idea of how much email I receive (personal email), I have over a thousand messages that I've received in the last month alone that I haven't filed away from my inbox!

Just when I thought it was safe (after reading recent email), I found out that I wasn't when I checked the Technorati stats. Both Chris from Blog-Op and Hari from Hari's Corner had written nice things about me while I was out. Swelling commenced. My head got so big, I looked like this guy:

Jack

I'll be okay, though. I'm sure the swelling will go down on its own in a couple of hours. There's no need to call any emergency services… yet.

Yumm… watermelons. Slices of cooled watermelon in ice are delicious in summertime :P

  4. And as all frat boys know, if you soak your head overnight in vodka, it'll slice up into a dandy semi-lethal party snack. Oh, wait, or do I mean the actual watermelon?

Congratulations, by the way, on proving yet again that 'he who gives, gets'!
