I suffered from brain freeze yesterday. It was so bad, I didn't feel like visiting more than a couple of blogs. Everybody has an off day and yesterday was one of many for me. Spending time to find an unfindable passport didn't help matters (and I found it today) because my concentration was way off. I mean, I only posted once the entire day. I usually throw SOMETHING in as a filler or throwaway post, but I didn't even do that. Oh well, such is life. Without further delay, here we go.

Are you feeling mundane or passionless? Vivien from Inspiration Bit invites you to join a group project that's an oasis of inspiration. The deadline to join the project is May 17th.

Ben at Instigator Blog wrote about the changes at Technorati and how the number of incoming links has been removed from the main display.

What do you think of the iPhone that's coming out soon? Amy at Interactive Marketing & Other Things seems to think it will be strong launch but will fizzle out after about a year. I think it'll get the same following (or almost the same) as the iPod. Apple fanboys will fall all over themselves to get it.

Schee at Internet Marketing talked about the pending launch of a new social network called "Ojeez". The preview that's linked to looks interesting. I'm curious as to whether, after the launch, we'll be saying "cool" or "Oh, jeez!"

Have you ever wondered about what "hacking" really is and not what the media (including movies and television) portray it as? The anonymous writer at Internet Privacy and Security Blog wrote an interesting piece that gives us the whole rundown.

Do you use Wikipedia as a reference? You might want to think about it some more after you read what Lauren at Internet Strategy Blog wrote about it. It seems that companies are using it for marketing purposes and whether it's unbiased or not may be an issue.

Jimi at Internet. Serious Business. wrote an unusual piece about the kind of responses you can get if you open yourself up with an article that contains the statement "ask me anything". If you ever decide to do that, beware of trolls.

Jeff made a sweeping prediction about "micro social networks" at Introspection back in January. He predicted the explosion would happen over the next year or so. It's already happening!

The anonymous blogger at iReview asks "How Good Are You?" when you're writing on your blog. The lash out is aimed at those who pretend to be experts.

FruityOaty is the second blog I have chanced upon who had misgivings about the "One Day Blog Silence" thing that happened on April 30th. In retrospect, I realize I did it for other bloggers more than anything else and I think this person did too.

Jeff Kee at Jeff Kee's Blog wrote a humorous article about how men and women choose Macintosh computers differently. We finally learn how people choose between Macs and PCs.

Jenn at jenn.nu wrote an article about breastfeeding and laws being enacted to support it. Her position happens to be a position I agree with. I never understood why people had something against a natural act that isn't disgusting (like urinating or defecating) when done in public places. There are some places where it isn't appropriate, but most of the places where people complain about it aren't inappropriate places. I think this is an American issue because I don't see this as an issue in any of the Asian countries.

The young lady at jessicadoyle.ca is moving from Vancouver, BC, to somewhere in New Brunswick (both in Canada), fleeing both rent problems and bed bugs. I sympathize wholeheartedly. It's an interesting read and you need to go back through a few pages to realize her aversion to bugs is a strong one.
