Ahsan at barely average.blog posted excerpts from blogs that he enjoyed reading. Hmmm… maybe I ought to try something like that…

Andréa at Consultant Journal offered some great tips for dealing with home office isolation. The tips apply to just about anyone who works from home, not just consultants. I'm glad isolation is the least of my worries.

Benedict posted the story of getting his finger slammed in a car door (which happened to me once - yeowww!) at his personal blog, The Unprotected Blog. His own comprehensive WordPress plugin list is on the techie blog, TechCorner.

Mohit Singhania at the Best-Blog-Basket posted the first in a series of articles about blogging tools for our blogging toolboxes. I will return to read the tutorial on Gimp (which I never have taken the time to learn about).

I learned something very near and dear to the hearts of many Filipinos, some information about San Miguel beer at Bi.S.E.A.N.. Apparently, there are two different San Miguel beer companies in the world that have nothing to do with each other. (I won't agree — I'm pretty sure the Spanish set up San Miguel in the Philippines a long time ago.)

I found a new plugin (which I may use) and a CSS trick at Bill2me dot Com that you can use to shorten long URLs in your comments. You know, the ones that are so long they spill over the side of your theme? I've seen a few blogs in the past few days that could use the plugin to clean their comments up.

The second picture in this posting at Billion Dollar Baloney caught me off-guard as I scrolled down. This is definitely NOT SAFE FOR WORK, so beware! Kudos just for the Van Halen music!

Mike at Blog About Your Blog asked if our blog rankings are everything. He raises a good point. A lot of us are losing sight of why we started blogging in the first place. Ranking are nice, but they're not the end game we're looking for.

Anna at Blogging for Dollars provided a link to popuri.us which can show some stats for you pretty quickly. This is the first I've heard of it.

Bugsey at Blogging for Cash wrote an interesting piece on nose jobs. It's more than I ever wanted to know.

Michael at Blogging for Money decided to tell us a little about himself. It seems more and more people are opening themselves up to the world and no longer appearing as anonymous bloggers. Hey, maybe I should try something like that too…
