Although my original link love idea was well regarded, I changed the format when I revisited the idea because the original format seemed too, well, "spammy".

The term of "Link Love" itself sounds a little "spammy" to me as well. It's not original and people use it too much to describe all kinds of blog linkage. Henceforth, I'm going to call it "Blog Appreciation". It's not a better term per se, but it is more in keeping with the reason for the existence of my linkage in the first place. Here's a new example, with a separator:

Kelly Cho has an interesting blog called Catch a Falling Star, which her tagline says is about everything and nothing. I don't agree with the nothing part because she has a unique perspective on a lot of her topics.

There are a lot of reasons to be cautious when you visit Jillian at CAUTION: girl underway. Looking at her blog as an outsider, I think her ultimate goal is to link to everything worthwhile on the Internet. That, and to harass people she likes as often as she can.
