RSS Feeds: RT Cunningham for President in 2012
If you've read my blog in the past and spent any time doing so, you should know what my feeling concerning politics are. Here I am doing a complete 180 degree turn. I mean, how could I possibly be any worse of a candidate than the potential candidates we have available now?
Yes, you read it right. You saw it here first. I'll be running for President of the US in the general election of 2012 as an independent candidate. Think about it. A candidate a few years ago started campaigning from the Internet and ran up all kinds of donations, etc. by doing so.
My wife said I'm crazy. I know I'm crazy. The first thing that happens is that every little detail of your life becomes public. All your history, all your likes and all your dislikes. Where you stand on issues that concern Americans right now and every day between the day you announce your candidacy and the day of the election.
My wife asked me why I wouldn't just go for 2008. Two reasons: 1) It's too late in the game and 2) I still belong to the military (until the end of September 2008).
I know, it's a pipe dream and I don't stand a snowball's chance in hell of winning a fraction of the voters because I'm not rich and not part of the good old boy network. Still, I'll give it a shot. Put the word out!
Note: This isn't going to change how I run my blog. I'm crazy but I'm not stupid.

Didn't you move to only 3 because of slower download times your site has? That's why I always found it handy to have your most recent posts in the upper left (thanks for bringing them back).
No, actually. I had it at 3 because I didn't want to mess with PHP coding to limit the ads. I ended up using your code and making it 10.
My pages load slow anyway, but it's not the fault of the software for the blog. I'm sure it will be speedy when I move it to another server in probably 2-3 weeks.
Egads…that's not going to be too fun.
I did that in the very beginning of my blog. It's not that difficult though, and since you have a lot of time on your hands you'll have it done in no time.
I'm excited to have UV at a faster pace! I can hardly keep up now though!
Now you know why I made it the "Top 100" on the recent posts. If I keep going at this rate, April will have more posts than March did and March had 103.

Hell yea! Go for it! I'm running for president in 2020 because that's the first year I'll meet the legal age requirements and it'll be an election year.
