Last 100 Posts Restored to the Left Sidebar

When I announced my Sidebar Clean Up Test and moved my "Last 100 Posts" into the "Pages" widget, I didn't realize how useful it was, right where it was. Well, forget what kind of effect it's going to have on my page rankings because I don't care.

I've had enough feedback in comments and in email to tell me that people like to be able to navigate easily and that, my friends, is enough to convince me to put it back. I know I said I was going to let the test run until the end of April, but it was annoying me as well. In fact, I may end up aborting the test anyway and putting things back the way they were. This blog isn't all about ME. I am nothing without readers who can get around easily and enjoy themselves. Anything that helps them out, as well as other bloggers, is worth it to me.

There are other things I would like to do, but they'll have to wait. I'll let you know what I'm going to do next as soon as I know it myself.

It doesn't have to be the last 100, the last 10 would be enough?

For most people, yes it would. But if you scroll down to the bottom left of the page and look at my archive counts, I did 104 in a month. I've been averaging between 4 and 8 a day and I'm not even trying. For me, 10 is not enough and 100 is probably too much, but it doesn't take any more time for the database to pull 100 than it does 10 and I have it in scroll box — so what they hey? Why not? It sure makes it easier for me to find something I did two weeks ago than going through all those other pages.
