Three Things
Chris at Thermal tagged me to provide a list of three things in various categories. I just hope my list doesn't reflect poorly on my age:
Three things that scare me:
- Being alone for too long.
- A person who talks very little. He or she could be the next serial killer.
- Erupting volcanoes.
Three People Who Make Me Laugh:
- My mother-in-law. She gets funnier as she gets older.
- Richard Marin (aka Cheech of Cheech & Chong)
- Paul at blogpaul, whose sense of humor is more warped than mine.
Three Things I Love:
- Coffee with cream and sugar.
- Iced tea, no lemon.
- Children.
Three Things I Hate:
- Politics.
- Bigots.
- Unnecessary foul language.
Three Things I DonĂ¯'t Understand:
- The universe.
- My lack of coherent thought.
- My son's addiction to video games.

- Regain my youthful health.
- Watch my grandchildren grow up (and I don't even have any yet).
- Bungee jump.
Three Things I Can Do:
- Speak English and Tagalog (Filipino)
- Type really fast (anywhere from 50 to 82 words per minute, depending on my mood)
- Swim. I swim like a dolphin.
Three Things I Can't Do:
- Cook. I've tried, but then I can't eat it.
- Write very well.
- Run very fast. Not since the accident I had at 17.
Three Things I Think You Should Listen To:
- Music.
- The sound of the ocean.
- Your spouse or significant other.
Three Things You Should Never Listen To:
- My thoughts.

- Batman.
There, I did it and it only took forever. It's time to tag: DragonLady, MrCorey and MacBros. Don't worry, it's optional.

LOL, I can't resist these things. Won't be tonight though. The Dragon needs her rest.
good answers there.
I usually read these types of lists, seems to be a heap around.
Is there any real point of them? Are they to get lots of links or just so people can see into your personality?

The second question is the answer.
Cheers RT, that was interesting.
What's Lumpia? I love the other 2. I wish I could swim well, I mean I can stop myself drowning, but watching me, it's hard to tell the difference.
I don't do every meme that comes my way, but I like these that make you think a little, and as you say, it can help you reveal your personality to your readers in a way you might not do ordinarily.
Lumpia is a Filipino dish. It's like an eggroll but without the cabbage. Meat (beef or pork usually), carrots, onions, and eggs thin-wrapped in a pastry wrapper and deep-fried.
Ingredients may vary, but if you've ever had one, you'll always know them when you see them.
Yeah I like child too….especially with soya sauce..
Sorry, I couldn't resist
NO FRIGGEN WAY…i beat your gay lover here with a comment??? Cmon Matt, don't rest at 57 comments…at least stop on a cool number like 69 or 86?
Ok, so seriously dude… is your blog going to become like myspace because I like your sense of humor too and there is nothing more I would rather to than pretend that you were a 13 year old girl!
Paul, you are insane. But I say that in a nice way.
OMG, lumpia is da BOMB! The hubby got a couple of recipes from a couple of Filipino women he used to work with. He's made it only once though. Said they were a pain in the butt to roll.
what do they say…copying is flattery…errr to copy things is to show love…err…lust…err hmm I dont know, I just know it was easy.

Paul…jealousy will get you no where. If you want to pursue a relationship, then you're going to have to go through me & RT's wife, and my wife.
If you can do that…he's all yours!
I just looked up a Lumpia recipe. I'll post it here for your readership.
They look pretty freakin good!
So you tagged me. Hmmm. Should I take you up on it? I haven't before for anyone. But, this time, I just might go for it, as I like the subject matter (and its not too long). I haven't had corned beef in a while. I like your choices for funny people.
