(For the benefit of my international readers, this is addressed to an American politician. Feel free to ignore it.)

Nancy, I am a person that doesn't follow politics but after Edge Media pointed out what you just tried to do to the US military, I cannot ignore you. It doesn't matter whether you're a Democrat or not and it doesn't matter whether you hate President Bush or not. What matters is that you just tried to screw the very people that you rely on to keep you safe.

Whether or not you agree with what the US is doing in Afghanistan and Iraq is not important in this regard. Whether or not you agree with what the soldiers, sailors, airmen, and marines are doing in the Middle East is not important in this regard. The military is doing what it has been ordered to do by the United States of America. You have shown your true colors and they do not match mine. As a retired US Marine, I am especially insulted by your lack of compassion and support. Thank God WE did not have to rely on YOU in the eighties and nineties.

Do you have relatives or loved ones in the Middle East right now? Perhaps you should view the pictures presented at Leaning Straight Up and the video presented by Sarge Charlie. If neither of them move you to do the right thing as far as the military is concerned, then you are truly an evil woman.
