I don't usually just give DVDs away. I gave away Ultraviolet. It's not worth having in anyone's collection. I watched it back in March and had the DVD sitting on a shelf in my closet. When a brother-in-law asked to borrow a movie, I didn't hesitate to give him this one, knowing full well I would never get it back.

Forget about the plot and forget about the star. The suck factor of this movie wasn't in either of those things. What caused me to add this to my hate list was the overuse of CGI and action sequences when they were both unnecessary. My son, who's an anime fan and usually goes for stuff like this (think Kill Bill), even hated it. That says a lot.

If you feel the urge to watch this movie, please don't. Don't waste your time. You'd get more enjoyment out of watching yet another lousy installment of "American Idol".
