Apparently a lot of people didn't get the memo. Neither did I. Actually, I did, but I ignored it as being yet another unimportant event in the life and times of Mr. Internet.

While I was browsing from one blog to another. I spotted a blurb about it, looked at my calendar, and said to myself, "Self, why didn't I remember this?" There's a good reason. It's a useless waste of time. Really, it is. Only about 44,000 people are supposedly participating. That's not even a drop in the bucket compared to the millions that will use the Internet today.

Besides, if I didn't get on the Internet today, what else would I do with the remaining 16+ hours of my day? I might actually have to do something else. Oh, the horror!
