You Are Being Warned

I'm warning regular readers in advance, just in case my server gets hammered by another social news site. Tomorrow morning (Friday), at about 8:00 am, Eastern Daylight Time, I'm going to publish my rant against copyrights and the RIAA. Since this kind of article seems to be a magnet for those kinds of places, it's only fair to give advance warning. I hate getting email for hours telling me my server is down or that I'm ignoring someone's comments.

Also coming up in the next few days are articles on taxes, my favorite WordPress plugins, family pictures, and more. All this stuff is bouncing around in my head and if I don't release it, my brain might hemorrhage. You wouldn't want that to happen, or would you?

   The local university, UW - Madison Wisconsin just announced that it will not be forwarding letters to students nor giving info to the RIAA. A few other universities are following suite. Just some food for thought for your post.

   I'm sorry, Nate, you missed by a few hours (to beat the post). But it's good that universities are standing up to them. The RIAA has no business meddling with educational institutions.
