A couple of short hours ago, I read this comment about my website on spicypage by user "Bon508":

"If you're into bathroom humor, this blog is for you!"

I suppose I should have been offended by that remark, but I wasn't. I like to call it "toilet humor" instead of "bathroom humor". I'm not quite sure if she meant it in a derogatory way but it doesn't matter. Obviously she's "into" bathroom humor or she wouldn't have been reading it, now would she?

For the benefit of my OTHER readers, it's not all about humor on this blog. I write about other things too! Some of it's quite serious while some of it's quite personal. I haven't found a niche to aim in on, and it may never happen. When a blog like mine doesn't fall into a specific niche, I like to call it the "shotgun effect". You shoot, most of the lead misses the target, but it only takes that one individual piece to strike the fatal blow. In other words, it only takes one specific item to grab the interest of a particular reader.
