A recent article posted on John Chow dot Com should get a few bloggers thinking. I'll respond to the 10 Blogging Mistakes To Avoid in my own imitable style.
Blogging Mistake #1 - Not Updating
Not a problem here. I've got nothing better to do. I find it difficult to stick to any kind of schedule, though. My mind, it's going, I can feel it.
Blogging Mistake #2 - Blogging Only For Money
Those that do are doomed to failure, at least in my opinion. I blog for myself and myself only. Call me smug.
Blogging Mistake #3 - Rushing a Post
Never. At least I don't think I do.
Blogging Mistake #4 - Not Being Personal
How more personal can I get?
Blogging Mistake #5 - Being a Copycat
Who, me???
Blogging Mistake #6 - Not Replying To Comments
Yep, I just put in the "Subscribe to Comments" plugin. Let's see what happens, shall we?
Blogging Mistake #7 - Not Giving a Full Feed RSS
I just changed it here. Full RSS feeds, baby!
Blogging Mistake #8 - Not Reaching Out To Other Bloggers
I try to… when I'm not busy reading or writing something else.
Blogging Mistake #9 - Writing For Google Instead Of People
How the heck do you do that?
Blogging Mistake #10 - Not Reading John Chow dot Com
