The first time I watched "Donnie Darko", I didn't like it. Maybe it's because it confused me. I ended up watching it two or three more times and started liking it from the second time on. The movie grows on you.

What prompted me to watch this one was the fact that it kept getting referenced on the many forums and social sites that I visited and I wanted to know what everyone was talking about.

The story is basically about Donnie Darko being saved from death, temporarily, in order to prevent a timeline catastrophe. Donnie had emotional problems which made me have to decide between whether he was imagining the events or whether it was actually happening.

Since I like weird movies like this, maybe I'll try Mulholland Dr. next (if I can find a copy of it) ??
