Over the past few days, I've been planting some red herrings at various places around the Internet. Some have remained undetected (perhaps too subtle) and some I've openly admitted to.
Some things I've learned from this little experiment:
1) Not all nerds and geeks are young and horny.
2) Programmers, for the most part, are asshats who are afraid to argue a point unless they're absolutely sure of themselves.
3) The majority of people on social networking sites are indifferent to anything that isn't the topic of the day.
4) Some people with high IQ's actually have a sense of humor.
That's enough. I won't be doing it again, so don't worry about it. If I can't "get a rise" out of anyone, it isn't worth the trouble.
