When I woke up this morning, my right eye was beet red and hurt like a son-of-a-bitch. It felt like there was something in there, under the eyelid somewhere. I spent half an hour probing and another half hour using eyedrops. Nothing helped. I hopped into the shower and bathed my eyeball in fresh, cold water.

10 hours later, my right eye sees nothing but a blur and is only mildly sore. I'll probably never know how it happened. The bad part about it, aside from the pain, is that my right sinus decided to leak all day. Not stuffy, not really runny, just leaking every so often. Apparently it's true that the eye, ears, nose and throat are all connected. Whenever I clean my ears, I have this uncontrollable desire to cough. When I cough hard, my ears pop.

Color me weird.
