RSS Feeds: A Message To Filipinos
More specifically, to the anti-American Filipinos in the Philippines:
I continue to read articles where you bash the American government without any justifiable reasons. You claim to want a sovereign country where America is not involved in your military or your politics, yet you have no problem taking anything America offers you that doesn't appear to have any strings attached. What a bunch of hypocrites! Do you always bite the hand that feeds you? Most of you idiots wouldn't even be around to complain if it weren't for the past actions of the US.
How quickly you forget your recent history. How many times does the US have to bail you out before you appreciate what it's done for you? Would you prefer to be a colony of Spain or Japan? Do you think you would be better off? How would you like it if the Americans pulled out all US government related entities, including the embassy, stopped emigration and temporary visas to the US and cut off all foreign aid? Would you be happier then?
I realize you're but 1 percent of the total population of the Philippines. The noise you make is more annoying than the combined population of the remaining 99 percent! Get off your high horses and work with the Americans and not against them. Stop blaming the US for your problems and fix them yourselves.
