Many television series come and go, especially when the writing is horrible. Smallville, however, seems to just keep on going. Just like the energizer bunny. I, too, am hooked on the show and the characters despite the shortcomings of the series. In fact, my wife is hooked on it and she doesn't like American television for the most part.

The storyline doesn't follow the Superman comics, any Superman or Superboy series, or any of the movies, yet it's more appealing than all of the previous incarnations. Why is that?

I understand the series is supposed to end when Clark Kent becomes Superman, but that is just incredibly stupid. I can see them ending it and replacing it with the next chapter in the life of Superman, but not just ending it. Perhaps they should continue the story with new movies that don't follow the previous five movies in any way. Kind of like "Batman Begins", but for Superman, you know what I mean?

Starring Tom Welling, Michael Rosenbaum, Allison Mack, Kristin Kreuk, Annette O'Toole and more. The following video combines the music of Lifehouse (Everything) with some video clips from Smallville. Enjoy!
