I've been reading tutorials and messing with examples of AJAX (Asynchronous JavaScript And XML) all day. I've spent so much time over the last few years on the server-side of the web that I neglected the client-side. I never realized there was so much to learn.
But learn I will. I have no choice if I want to keep up with the rest of the web. Even though most websites (like this blog) don't even need AJAX to be functional, there are some that really take advantage of it.
When I first started reading, this morning, my first response was… "Lions and tigers and bears, oh my!".
