I'm not a horror movie fan, but Slither is not really a horror movie. It's part comedy, part horror, part science fiction. The characters act in a way people in the real world act, not the way you'd expect movie characters to act.

The movie pays homage to other horror and science fiction movies that you'd recognize almost immediately in this movie. Needless to say, I enjoyed this movie. I found myself thoroughly entertained all the way through to the end of it.
