Mail service here in the Philippines is horrible. Two recent letters I received were delayed by an incredible amount of time. One letter, from the United States, took 2 months. A letter from an Air Force base in Germany took almost 3 months (I just received it today). One letter that been sent to me from the U.S. back in August still hasn't arrived, if it ever will.

Even the local people agree. Utility companies hand-deliver the monthly bills and we have to go to their offices in order to pay the bills. The government won't do anything about it.

In the United States, the mail service was privatized years ago. The service improved almost immediately. They need to do that here.
