I spent hours using Google Earth to try to locate my house or even the road I live on, with no success. The level of detail at near-ground level is not enough to differentiate between houses yet. Perhaps I'll have better luck in a few months. I had no trouble finding the exact spots where I lived before in the US, including Hawaii. I also did not have difficulty with an apartment in Okinawa, Japan. It's just that the area I live in now is really congested and needs more detail.
In the meantime, I've taken a few pictures of the front of my house for your viewing pleasure. Please note that there's still work to do.
