Both the contractor and the engineer told me today that the house would be finished by Saturday. I'm not holding my breath. There are a lot of mistakes to be corrected.

One example is that they hooked up the water line without attaching the water tank and the hot water heater. I could go on, but I won't. It's just not worth it to remind myself.

Can they get it done by Saturday? It's possible, but I doubt it. The workers are spending too much time correcting their mistakes as they go. Saturday is September 9th. They have until September 13th to complete the work. My guess is that it will take all of that time to completely finish the job.
