I rarely drink alcoholic beverages. I don't like the taste of beer or wine. Hard liquor, mixed with something else, seems to agree with me more. I can't say that I haven't overdone it in the past because I definitely have. Memories of hangovers creep over me like so much dust. Over the years, I've tried to add beer and wine to my daily diet as much as possible but like I said, I don't like the taste. Why would I add them to my diet? Moderate use of alcoholic beverages has numerous health benefits.
