Stargate Atlantis is a spinoff from Stargate SG-1, which is based on the movie "Stargate (1994)". While SG-1 is a great show, I think Atlantis is even better. I don't want to get into too much detail about it because I plan to add more information to this article in the future. There's another Stargate series in the works (replacing SG-1), but I don't have any information about it yet.
